The Grange Good Friday 5k organized by North Sligo AC raised one thousand six hundred euro. The event was ran as a fundraiser for the victims of the earthquake in Syria and Turkey and sixteen hundred euro has now been forwarded to the charity Goal, who are working on the ground with the people out there. The club has raised thousands of euro for various charities and good causes since the inception of this event fourteen years ago. They would like to thank all who took part to support this good cause especially Martina Mullaney of Supervalue Grange who sponsored all the prizes and all who helped to make it happen.
